Your header is the most important aspect to your blog design. It’s the first thing people see when they arrive on your site … and it determines if people will stay and hang out, or click away.
The great thing about header design is there is so much you can do with it! You can either keep things very simple, clean and professional … or … you can use that space to really stand out from the crowd … to tell a story about what your blog is about.
Menu bar design is also important to your blog success. You want to make sure your menu bar stands out, and is easily identifiable as the organizational structure of your blog.
In this video tutorial I give you a few tips on some different header & menu bar designs. There are so many things that are possible with these elements … but I try to give a few suggestions just to get your creative juices flowing … so you can start to play around with different ideas.
